Discipleship
Our aim is to fulfil the Lord Jesus' command to go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that He commanded the Apostles.
"Make disciples" is accompanied by three participles in the Greek: "going, baptising and teaching."
The Bible Knowledge Commentary
This is the will of our Lord Jesus and on the basis of our obedience, both to His general will and His specific will for our lives, will we be rewarded, or not.
This is a call to all of us and should not be left to random chance but we should be diligent in our growth and maturity, as the Lord leads.
There is much to be learnt and we need to keep hold of the foundation of repentance, the faith in and the love of, our Lord Jesus the Messiah, as we grow in godliness and loving service.
We encourage you, therefore, to make every effort while it is still day and look forward to our living hope, the day we rejoice together in the presence of our risen saviour.
